Call for Artists
Spring 2026 Fine Art Society Exhibition
Saturday, April 25th, 2026, 4-8pm
Colony Cottage Regional Recreation Center, 510 Colony Blvd, The Villages, FL 32162
Deadline to submit your registration form is April 1st (mail date stamped by March 26th).
NEW FOR THIS EXHIBIT - artists may enter up to 4 paintings. You must designate on your entry form which painting you want in Gallery 1, 2 & 3. Your 4th entry will be placed in Gallery 2 or 3 pending space availability and curators decision.
Artwork entered in this exhibit must be reviewed and approved at the April 16th members meeting at Eisenhower Recreation Center.
Check-in starts at 9:30am for board members so they can then assist members with check-in.
Artists with last name starting with A - M - check-in at 10:00am.
Artists with last name starting with N - Z - check-in at 10:30am.
Exhibition Day April 25th - You must deliver your artwork to the lobby between 12:00-12:30pm at Colony Cottage Recreation Center. There is no check-in process the day of the exhibit.
Golden Brush Program - this option is available for waiving your entry and panel fees if you recruit a sponsor for $250 or more. Details are listed below and in the prospectus.

Golden Brush Program:
Any artist entering the exhibit who recruits a sponsor at the $250 level or above for one exhibit, will have their entry fee of $25 and all panel fees waived/refunded for that exhibition. Artists may recruit a sponsor for both the Spring and Fall exhibits for a discounted price, and have their panel and entry fees waived for the full year.
Sponsor funds and logo must be received before the sponsor registration deadline of March 20th. Artists must still complete the exhibit registration form by the April 1st deadline.

Lynn Ferris AWS, NWS, TWSA is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, and the Florida Watercolor Society. Her work was the subject of a feature article in Watercolor magazine, can be seen in Watercolor Magic and the prestigious Splash series of books published by North Light. She has served as a judge for the Brevard Watercolor Society “A Splash of Watercolor” exhibit, The Mid-Southern Watercolorists Annual Exhibition, the Tioga Winter Fine Arts Festival, and numerous others. Her many awards include “Best of Show” in both the Florida Watercolor Society and Tallahassee Watercolor Society annual exhibits. She has been an award winner in “The Artist’s Magazine” All-Media competition, and her work is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach.
