Wanda Boyd is an award-winning artist and instructor working primarily in watercolor and acrylic. Her atmospheric, expressive paintings explore light, color, and mood through landscapes and abstract work. Whether painting representationally or abstractly, Wanda is drawn to creating a sense of depth and atmosphere, allowing softened edges, layered color, and suggestion to tell as much of the story as detail.

Wanda's artistic education spans more than 25 years of studio classes, independent study, and workshops with nationally recognized artists. This combination of strong foundations and continued exploration has shaped both her painting and her approach to teaching.

Wanda has taught watercolor for more than ten years, with hundreds of students participating in her classes. Known for her clear, thorough demonstrations and easy-to-follow instruction, she creates a relaxed and encouraging classroom where students feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions, and developing their own abilities. Her warmth and humor are as much a part of her classes as her commitment to helping each student succeed.

For the past ten years, Wanda has led the Wet-n-Wild Watercolor group and has served for six years as Co-Director of Village Art Workshops, helping bring nationally recognized artists and high-quality art education to Central Florida. She has also been active in numerous area arts organizations and is a past president of the Citrus Watercolor Society in Inverness, Florida.
