I am a visual artist creating bold portraits, landscapes, and abstracts steeped in high-saturation color and fine detail. My path to painting is unconventional; I spent years working as an electrical engineer before teaching myself to paint. In my studio, my technical roots merge with my creativity resulting in highly detailed works exploding with rich color and dynamic energy. I view each canvas as a space to solve visual puzzles—harmonizing intense color palettes with unexpected, intricate textures and patterns. For me, art is about magnifying the brilliant, detailed layers of life that often go unnoticed. My art is a window into my emotional response to life’s influences, past, present and future.
