God is the ultimate creator, and I attempt to interpret His works in the world around us.  Much of my art is private commission which is an enjoyable challenge.

 Based in The Villages, Florida, Cynthia Ancel’s favorite genres are portraits of people and pets, landscape, illusion, and images that tell a story.  Oil is her favorite medium, although she also works in acrylics, color pencil, graphite and photography.  

 Her realistic style is enriched with symbolism not always realized at first glance. Much of Cynthia’s work is in private collections throughout the US.  Since 1985 she has won myriad awards and recognitions.
