Annette began studying oil painting with Anthony Trujullo at the age of 14. She attended Pratt Institute and graduated with a B.F.A.. Minoring in jewelry making, she pursued this avenue as a way to support herself, designing for costume jewelry manufacturers.  Her work has been touted by a professor at Visual Arts, NYC,  as innovative. She has been collected by various individuals and a few institutions, exhibiting extensively in the northeast and Florida.

She has lived many lives. And so her art has also changed. There is always a common thread with the use of color, layers, overlapping forms, the idea of peeping through. Annette went from photo digital painting to collages to acrylic painting. Her present journey utilizes acrylic paint creating abstract intuitional works.

Presently she spends  time in two  beautiful areas one is the Hudson Valley, the other Florida.
