Cheri’s artistic journey has taken many forms over the years—from childhood cartoon sketches and handcrafted creations to teaching piano and organ, as well as studying oil painting and sketching at the Minneapolis Institute of Art following college. After a long, successful career as a law firm and medical school administrator, she retired to The Villages in 2017 with a new mission: to master watercolor painting.

Through extensive workshops, weekly classes, and leadership roles in local art organizations, Cheri has dedicated herself to refining her craft. Her work focuses on exploring light, value, and color blending to create rich textures and expressive depth. She is an active member of the Fine Art Society, Visual Arts Association, Villages Art League, Central Florida Watercolor Society, and the Florida Watercolor Society.
