Susan has been painting for 50 years growing and learning new information to enrich her communication on paper.  Water-media intrigues my creativity the most.  Creating images on paper is a never ending wealth of imagination, experimentation and                       entertainment for to the viewer.

Her desired materials are transparent and opaque paints, crayons, college or acrylic.  Her paintings often start with an old painting by briskly placing brushstrokes over other images looking for conceptualized subjects.  Once the new image appears, she then completes the triangle until she is satisfied with the creation of marks and color.

Susie’s membership and leadership include the following organizations: Board member of Fine Art Society, Southern Watercolor Society, Tallahassee Watercolor Society, signature member of Ohio Watercolor Society, Florida Watercolor Society, Central Florida Watercolor Society.  

She has been inspired by the works and teaching of John Salminen, Steven Quiller, Frank Francese, Virginia Cobb, Paul St. Denis, Bill Vrscar, Mark Mahaffey, Carl Dalio, Frank Webb, Al Brouillette, Homer Hacker, Don Andrews, Daniel Greene, Zoltan Szabo, Don Holden, and Robbie Laird.  Susie has received various awards from Art Exhibitions, Festivals, and Art Organizations/Societies.
